Carol Service

22nd December 2017

On Friday 22nd December, our yearly Carol Service was held. Our beautifully, well spoken narrators from Year 6 told the story of the Christmas story that happened 2000 years ago in a city called Nazareth. Some children in Year 2 were part of the tableau who acted out the story so confidently, playing parts of Mary, Joseph, angels, shepherds and wise men. Musicians, including pianists and recorders, accompanied the children singing songs. Both Year 1 classes performed Silent Night using Makaton they have been learning during the term with Mrs Cave. Overall the whole performance of the Carol Service was fantastic!

The Carol Service also marked the last day of Rev. Roger Mills who has been a governor at our school for 17 years! The children made a card including all the things they remember Roger doing in school. On behalf of Kingston Park Primary School we would like wish Roger Mills a relaxing and enjoyable retirement.
